Best Samurai Katana Glamours in Final Fantasy XIV

Samurai is a melee DPS job in Final Fantasy 14 and is also one popular job. Of course, every samurai gets to wield their very own katana. So which ones are the best? Here are some of the best Samurai Katana Glamours in Final Fantasy XIV.

1. Shiva's Diamond Katana

Shiva's Diamond Katana is an item level 115 katana and can be used by Samurai. It requires being at least level 50 to be equipped. Getting one will require a True Ice Katana, a possible loot drop in The Akh Afah Amphiteatre (Extreme). Along with that, you will need five Diamond Dust, which is dropped from the same trial.

Materials:

• 1 True Ice Katana

• 5 Diamond Dust

2. Tsukuyomi's Moonlit Chokuto

Tsukuyomi weapons are loved for their vibrant dark pink glow. This level 70 sword does not disappoint in catching attention.

Level 70 Blacksmiths can craft as long as they have the Master Blacksmith VI recipes.

Materials:

• 7 Fire Crystal

• 7 Earth Crystal

• 3 Chromite Ingot

• 2 Palladium Ingot

• 2 Molybdenum Ingot

• 1 Celestial Kimono Remnant

• 5 Demicrystal

3. Augmented Ironworks Magitek Samurai Blade

Augmented Ironworks Magitek Samurai Blade is an item level 130 katana and can be used by Samurai. It requires being at least level 50 to be equipped.

There are various ways to obtain the blade:

1). It can be bought by Drake in the North Shroud for 100 Allagan Tomestones of Poetics along with an Ironworks Magitek Samurai Blade.

2). It can be bought from a Rowena Representative for 600 Allagan Tomestones of Poetics.

3). It can be traded for five Silver Chocobo Feathers from any Calamity Salvager.

4. Gordian Katana

Gordian Katana is an item level 210 katana and can be used by Samurai. It requires being at least level 60 to be equipped. Sabina can buy the Gordian Katana in Idyllshire for eight Gordian Manifestos. That means completing Alexander - The Burden of the Father (Savage) at least eight times. What sets it aside from many other katanas is that it's doable.

5. Augmented Aischune

There are gorgeous Samurai katanas available at level 80, but none are sought out as the Augmented Aischune. This is another dark-colored Katana, and it releases a dark purple aura. The feel for this weapon is cool and dark, while Tsukuyomi's aim is for a more elegant display. From Katana's sheath, you can already tell.

A level 80 Blacksmith that has Master Blacksmith VII recipes can craft this beauty.

Materials:

• 7 Fire Crystal

• 7 Earth Crystal

• 4 Tungsten Steel Ingot

• 1 Ethereal Silk

• 1 Dwarven Mythril Ingot

• 1 Hades's Auracite

• 8 Kingcraft Demimateria

6. Alexandrian Metal Katana

Alexandrian Metal Katana is an item level 275 katana and can be used by Samurai. It requires being at least level 60 to be equipped. The sword is hard to get. It can be purchased from Sabina in Idyllshire for eight Alexandrian Manifestos. This means you must complete Alexander - The Soul of the Creator (Savage) eight times.

The katana cannot be crafted or sold.

7. Seiryu's Sanctified Katana

Seiryu is a water dragon, or should I say snake (as written for the dungeon name). The weapon represents its name in terms of look and effect. Bluewater aura wraps the white Katana and makes the perfect sense. To make this weapon, you should have obtained the Master Blacksmith VI book and, of course, the required materials.

Materials:

• 7 Fire Crystal

• 7 Earth Crystal

• 3 Chromite Ingot

• 2 True Griffin Leather

• 2 Molybdenum Ingot

• 1 Seiryu's Scale

• 5 Demicrystal

8. Mighty Thunderstroke

Thunderstroke is a sword that both glows purple as well as has some lightning effects around the blade. It has been around longer than other swords. A level 50 Blacksmith can make the sword but will need a Large Levin Orb from the Extreme trial. They will also need Master Blacksmith II recipes.

Materials:

• 4 Lightning Cluster

• 3 Wolfram Ingot

• 1 Ancient Lumber

• 1 Gold Ingot

• 1 Large Levin Orb

• 5 Battlecraft Demimateria III

• 1 Aqueous Whetstone

9. Byakko's Enspirited Katana

Visually, the white katana is stunning. The effect of this weapon is also exquisite and unique. Unlike other weapons that beam with aura, this weapon has big black brush strokes coming out from it. To make Byakko's Enspirited Katana, master recipes for a level 70 Blacksmith are required. It also requires a Byakko Mane, which is only gotten from The Jade Stoa (Extreme).

Materials:

• 7 Fire Crystal

• 7 Earth Crystal

• 4 Chromite Ingot

• 1 True Griffin Leather

• 2 Molybdenum Ingot

• 1 Byakko's Mane

• 5 Demicrystal

10. Suzaku's Flame-Kissed Chokuto

This level 70 katana is beloved for a simple reason: it's on fire. It's also a way to remember the Hells' Kier (Extreme) fight. To make this katana requires some hard-to-get materials. A major piece required is a Scarlet Tailfeather, which you can only get by completing Hells' Kier (Extreme).

Materials:

• 7 Fire Crystal

• 7 Earth Crystal

• 3 Chromite Ingot

• 2 Torreya Lumber

• 2 Molybdenum Ingot

• 1 Scarlet Tailfeather

• 5 Demicrystal

These are the 10 best Samurai Katana Glamours. If you are a Samurai player, which Katana do you like the most? It is worth noting that a good katana brings a lot of FFXIV Gil.
