Best Young Strikers in FIFA 20 Career Mode

Generally, the choice of striker depends on your club, other players, formation, transfer budget, salary budget, style of play, preferences, etc. So, the best striker for us may not be for you. However, we still recommend that you consider their potential and age when choosing strikers. Here, we introduce you to the best young strikers in the FIFA 20 Career Mode.

Kylian Mbappe (OVR 89 – POT 95)

• Age: 20

• Position(s): ST, RW

• Club: Paris Saint-Germain

• Country: France

• Value: £84.2 million (Release Clause: £172.5 million)

• Wage: £140,000 a week

Kylian Mbappe is already classed as a world-class striker, despite not reaching his prime. He is one of the most promising young stars in the world right now and is a key player for both PSG and the French national side. He having already won three Ligue 1 medals and scoring in the World Cup Final to secure France's victory.

In his first season, he got 21 goals in 44 games. Last year, 39 goals in just 43 caps. Unsurprisingly, his transfer fee is extremely high and will cost you around £120 million, with wages of £140,000 a week. But Mbappe is very much a 'get what you pay for' signing, with incredibly high sprint speed (96), dribbling (91) and finishing (89) stats, as well as his five-star skills. In life and FIFA 20 Career mode, he's set to become the best in the world.

Luka Jovic (OVR 83 – POT 89)

• Age: 21

• Position(s): ST

• Club: Real Madrid

• Country: Serbia

• Value: £32.9 million (Release Clause: £73.9 million)

• Wage: £140,000 a week

If there is one striker every club wished they had right now, it would be Luka Jovic. The Serbian is just 21-years-old but has already been tipped to become the best striker in the world in no time. Jovic earned himself a £54 million transfer to Real Madrid this summer after an impressive season with Eintracht Frankfurt. He scored 27 goals in all competitions, helping his side to the Europa League semi-finals and seventh place in the Bundesliga.

You can either fork out Jovic's £73.9 million release clause to sign him immediately or offer £65 million once Real Madrid is open to offers (January 2020 earliest). The Serbian's max potential is 89, and he's blessed with a five-star weak foot ability, Jovic could become the complete striker your team needs.

Marcus Rashford (OVR 83 – POT 88)

• Age: 21

• Position(s): ST, LM

• Club: Manchester United

• Country: England

• Value: £32 million (Release Clause: £63.1 million)

• Wage: £113,000 a week

The Red Devils striker is essentially already the finished product – though, much like his real-life ability, he can reach truly world-class levels with a bit of extra development time. Rashford's 94 Sprint Speed already makes him one of the quickest attackers in the game, and his five-star skills mean you can pull off cheeky moves like the Sombrero Flick if you want to embarrass defenders. He will set you back a £63.1 million release clause and increased wage demands of £120,000 a week. He's a little expensive, but he's worth it. If you don't have enough Coins, you can buy the cheapest FIFA 20 Coins through u4gm and then help you get it.

Timo Werner (OVR 83 – POT 87)

• Age: 23

• Position(s): ST

• Club: RB Leipzig

• Country: Germany

• Value: £31.1 million (Release Clause: £55.1 million)

• Wage: £63,000 a week

Timo Werner burst into the Bundesliga scene in 2016, scoring 21 goals in his first season with RB Leipzig. Since then he has continued to improve and racked up 68 goals for the German club. Excellent finishing, pacey, with good agility and reactions, and attacking positioning all point to a striker who knows how to score goals.

His 92 rated sprint speed and 86 rated finishing can be yours for his release clause of £55.1 million. You will have to up his wages to £90,000 a week to complete the signing. Timo Werner has great talent in all the right places, and he is also a much cheaper player than the player above. If you have enough FIFA Coins 20, buy him now.

Gabriel Jesus (OVR 82 – POT 88)

• Age: 21

• Position(s): ST

• Club: Manchester City

• Country: Brazil

• Value: £27.9 million (Release Clause: £57.2 million)

• Wage: £126,000 a week

Manchester City's Gabriel Jesus has been an overpowered player since FIFA 18 – and he's more OP than he's ever been thanks to how important pace and agility are on FIFA 20. The Brazil international boasts 95 paces and 89 finishing with a Hunter chemistry style, meaning once he gets through on goal there's only one place the ball is going - into the back of the net.

His efforts helped City achieve their treble-winning season last year, earning back-to-back Premier League medals for the young Brazilian. The already-experienced Premier League forward will set you back £55 million and an expensive wage bill of £126,000 a week. For that price, you will be signing a player with 90 rated agility and balance and 86 dribbling.

Lautaro Martinez (OVR 81 – POT 89)

• Age: 21

• Position(s): ST

• Club: Inter Milan

• Country: Argentina

• Value: £24.3 million (Release Clause: £46.2 million)

• Wage: £55,000 a week

The 21-year-old Lautaro Martinez is easily one of the best strikers you can sign on career mode. He scored 10 goals in 40 appearances in his first season for Inter, helping the San Siro side finish 4th in the Serie A, retaining qualification for Champions League football.

If the 88 Jumping, 84 Strength and 84 Aggression don't catch the eye, the Argentinian's potential will: a whopping 89. He boasts a four-star weak foot which allows him to strike the ball accurately with his 'wrong' boot, and he's also capable of performing advanced skill moves thanks to his four-star skill rating. His £46.2 million release clause seems like a fair price and his wage demands of £55,000 a week are relatively low.

Maxi Gomez (OVR 80 – POT 85)

• Age: 22

• Position(s): ST

• Club: Valencia CF

• Country: Uruguay

• Value: £18 million (Release Clause: £39.2 million)

• Wage: £36,000 a week

Uruguayan striker Gomez is a different type of goalscorer. He's an old-school striker who uses his strength and physical prowess to hold the ball up, perform lay-offs, win headers and score tap-ins. He has made a good start to the 2019/20 season, scoring already for the Spanish side.

Standing at 6ft 1in with a strength rating of 85, there aren't many defenders who'll be capable of going toe-to-toe with him. But to get the most out of him you'd need to play a two-striker formation and partner him up with a more agile and pacey striker. Of course, his recent move means you'll have to pay his release clause of £39.2 million and fulfill his £50,000 wage demands to sign the striker.

Santi Mina (OVR 80 – POT 85)

• Age: 23

• Position(s): ST

• Club: Celta Vigo

• Country: Spain

• Value: £18 million (Release Clause: £39.2 million)

• Wage: £26,000 a week

Santi Mina had a steady season last year, with seven goals and five assists for Valencia, helping the Spanish side win a domestic trophy. This summer saw him return to his boyhood club of Celta Vigo.

His 83 rated positioning and 82 rated finishing suggest he is a natural striker, and with a bit of training, he could be nurtured to his 85 overall rated potential. He's great at scoring headers and long shots, with both stats being rated 77 and 74 respectively – but where Mina truly shines is in the 18-yard-area. Get him one-on-one with a goalkeeper and he's sure to blast the ball right past them and into the back of the net. Mina will cost you his £39.2 million release clause and £26,000 in wages.

Moussa Dembele (OVR 80 – POT 85)

• Age: 22

• Position(s): ST

• Club: Lyon

• Country: France

• Value: £18 million (Release Clause: £64 million)

• Wage: £64,000 a week

Celtic fans will know Moussa Dembele very well, having gained cult status at the Glasgow club. He played 55 times for the Bhoys, scoring 24 goals, earning himself a move to Lyon in the summer of 2018. He scored 25 goals for the French side in the 18/19 season and has already scored 5 goals in 5 games in the 19/20 season.

He's fast, and deadly in front of goal, but surprisingly, he is very strong too. His 86 strength means not only is he a threat getting in behind defensive lines, but he can also play the hold-up the game well too. The Frenchman will cost you £37 million, with moderately high wage demands of £64,000 a week.

Wesley (OVR 79 – POT 85)

• Age: 22

• Position(s): ST

• Club: Aston Villa

• Country: Brazil

• Value: £15.8 million (Release Clause: £33.1 million)

• Wage: £55,000 a week

With 2 Goals and 1 Assist in Aston Villa's comprehensive 5-1 away win at Norwich, the Brazilian leads the race for October POTM at the moment.

For his £33.1 million release clause and £ 55,000-week wage demands, you will secure the services of a 6ft3 Brazilian giant with 95 strength and 84 shot power. Villa's powerhouse also has 83 rated sprint speed.

These are the choices of the best young strikers in FIFA 20 career mode. Who you end up using in the game depends on your current situation.
