FIFA 20 TOTW 13: Best Players Introduction
Here's a look at some of FIFA 20 TOTW 13's best players, with a look at their recent performances. Of course, If you have a player card that is included in the lineup, then you are lucky because their overall rating will rise.
Martin Dubravka
It's rare that Premier League keepers get selected for TOTW. Newcastle fought back against Southampton with two late goals to secure a dramatic 2-1 victory on Sunday, but they were only able to do so after weathering a storm from the struggling Saints. But Martin Dubravka's performance on Thursday night for Newcastle was near miraculous, with the Newcastle stopper making a total of six saves. He is contribution proved key, with his first-half saves laying the platform for the comeback. With some of them being truly unbelievable, I find it hard to see him being snubbed from this side.
Sergio Asenjo
Sergio Asenjo's clean sheet shut out Atletico Madrid as Diego Simeone's side could not find a way past the Spaniard. Villarreal has failed to win any of their last five games, however, a clean sheet against Atletico should give them confidence when they travel to Sevilla next week. Asenjo could see his overall rise as high as 85 this week.
Raphael Varane
Real Madrid briefly nudged ahead of title rivals Barcelona with a 2-0 victory over Espanyol which brought their total tally of La Liga wins to a record 1700. As well as guiding his side (who had Ferland Mendy sent off in the final minutes) to a clean sheet, French center-back Raphael Varane did his job at the other end by opening the scoring on 36 minutes. The 2018 World Cup winner put in a solid display and has firmly established himself among Europe's elite. This week his overall could increase to 87 should he be selected in TOTW 13.
Aaron Wan Bissaka
Marcus Rashford may have notched a decisive brace, but £50 million right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka was singled out by his manager for particular praise, with the Norwegian purring: "It's Sterling out there, it's Mahrez out there, it's De Bruyne out there. And they just don't go past him."
Joachim Andersen
Joachim Andersen was a colossus at the back as Lyon dominated Nimes. Two first-half red cards meant Nimes rarely troubled the Lyon defense, but the Dane was not content with just his defensive duties. The 6'4" defender lashed home a fierce drive from 25 yards to make it 4-0 on the night. Lyon defender Andersen's performance could see him leap to 82 overall this week.
Ramy Bensebaini
Borussia Monchengladbach's remarkable start to the season continued as they overcame Bayern 2-1. Both goals came courtesy of Algerian left-back Ramy Bensebaini, who had only scored once prior to the game. Monchengladbach remains top of the Bundesliga, seven points ahead of Bayern. Bensebaini's heroics could earn him a second in form of the season.
Sergej Milinković-Savić
Despite going behind at home to Juventus after a strike from Cristiano Ronaldo, Lazio held firm to claw their way back and eventually claim a famous 3-1 victory. Their comeback was inspired largely by the classy, all-action Serbian midfielder Sergej Milinković-Savić, who cemented his status as one of Europe's hottest properties with the crucial second goal.
Naby Keita
Naby Keita grabbed a goal and assist as Liverpool beat Bournemouth 3-0 at the Vitality Stadium. In what was his first league start of the season. Keita's display could earn him a place in TOTW 13 with an IF card rated 85 OVR.
Memphis Depay
There are a lot of options from Ligue 1 this week and thus I expect a couple to miss out however Memphis Depay shouldn't be one of those after the Dutchman scored twice and assisted another from CAM during Lyon's 4-0 win over Nimes. L'Equipe awarded him with an 8/10 although they were very generous on some other players too.
Joaquin
With Messi being unable to pick up an IF for his hat trick in Barcelona's 5-2 win due to a current TOTGS item and additionally a POTM SBC there was only one clear cut option from La Liga and that goes to Joaquin. The Spanish winger scored all three of Betis's goals in their 3-2 win over Bilbao to make his spot a certainty.
Marco Reus
Dortmund thrashed Fortuna Dusseldorf 5-0 as their attack was firing on all cylinders. Marco Reus took his personal tally for the season to eight goals as he scored twice and provided the assist for Jadon Sancho's first goal. An IF card this week could be rated 89 overall.
Matheus Pereira
Matheus Pereira has been a stand out player for West Brom this season with several top-end performances coming from the Brazilian. It was arguably his best yet on Sunday though during WBA's 5-1 home win with one goal and three assists to his name. There is a lot of competition this week but I feel that Pereira is one of the best.
Marcus Rashford
Marcus Rashford is in some serious form right now and picked up MOTM in both Manchester United's big wins this week, the first coming against Tottenham from which he scored twice in a 2-1 win and the second against City, scoring once in another 2-1 win.
Lionel Messi
Barcelona racked up five goals this weekend, with Lionel Messi responsible for three himself. A superb hat-trick that included two curling efforts from outside the penalty area blew Mallorca away despite Ante Budimir's brace.
Another Messi hat-trick could see his second IF of the season with an overall of 96. The Argentine's basic card costs in the region of 1.2 million coins on both consoles. His 95 rated IF card will cost around the 1,500,000 marks, while his UCL TOTGS costs in excess of 2 million coins. Do you want to get him? u4gm provides you with the cheapest FIFA 20 coins supplier, safe and reliable. With these coins, you can let Messi join your FUT 20.
Jadon Sancho
It says much for Jadon Sancho's standing as one of European football's most exciting talents that a relatively quiet spell led earlier this season prompted whispers about his form and attitude.
All of this was put to bed against Fortuna Dusseldorf, with the 19-year-old England winger bagging his sixth and seventh Bundesliga goals of the season and adding an assist for good measure in a 5-0 victory. The English wunderkind was a constant menace throughout the game playing predominantly from the left-hand side, his IF could see a positional change to LW.
Heung-Min Son
Heung-Min Son has continued to cement his status as one of Tottenham's most indispensable stars since Jose Mourinho took over. Heung-Min Son provided one assist against Burnley; however, he will remember the game only for his solo goal. Running the length of the pitch through the entire Burnley team, Son scored one of the goals of the season as Spurs dished out a hammering to Sean Dyche's men. Spurs star Son could receive a second IF card rated 89.
Kylian Mbappe
French superstar Kylian Mbappe helped PSG come from behind to beat Montpellier this weekend. Mbappe's goal put PSG ahead on the night before his outside of the foot cross found Mauro Icardi who sealed the three points with a crisp volley. Rapid forward Mbappe could earn a 91 rated IF card this week.
